I discovered something interesting about myself recently. Its about the kind of girls I like. Call it my “type” or whatever.

I have certain standards I want my future girlfriend to meet, and until recently, I thought those standards I set myself were fixed. For example, I’d prefer her to have an English name, be sporty, preferably shorter, etc etc. All basic, simple, even trivial stuff.

But then I took a closer look at the girls I DIDN’T feel attracted to, and this is where I had my revelation.

The most important quality I want my girl to have is: Self Esteem. The power of believing in and loving oneself is so powerful and uncommon enough that it’s a turn on for me. She can lack an English name, or be taller or older than me, but as long as she has self esteem, I am willing to lower some of my other standards.

This was an extremely mind blowing discovery, and as I look back at all the girls who rejected me, I feel thankful they did. Each of them lacked self esteem, were shy, and generally not adventurous at all.

I already know I’ve realized this too late. I will be entering the army next year for the following 3 years, so I’ve promised myself not to get a girlfriend before army. I mean, I don’t want to worry about her, and have her worry about me. Neither of us would be able to fully enjoy ourselves and have fun during those 2 years. I personally am ready to give my all during NS, and worrying will take the fun out of everything.  

If a locked lock can be unlocked, it is unlockable.

If an unlocked lock can’t be locked, it’s unlockable.

Ergo, a locked lock is a broken lock.

Ignore the first 50s of awkwardness, once you watch to the middle, you’ll understand why I like this so much, and not just because of the girls. XD

I wanted to do something like that too, but I felt if two guys performed this, it would be more embarrassing than girls. How very wrong I was.
